All data is stored in encrypted databases with access controls. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data or clinical documentation with third parties except when required by law, with your explicit consent, or with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting providers) under strict data processing agreements.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your data or request account deletion by contacting us. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
TherapOT is designed for use by licensed therapists. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Student data entered by therapists is governed by the therapist's own institutional privacy obligations.
