By accessing or using TherapOT, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
Description of Service
TherapOT is a web-based documentation tool for occupational therapists. It provides features for creating therapy notes, managing student profiles, and scheduling sessions. The service is provided "as is" and may be updated or modified at any time.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your account information up to date.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use TherapOT only for lawful purposes related to therapy documentation. You may not use the service to store or transmit malicious content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, or interfere with the operation of the platform.
Intellectual Property
The TherapOT service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by TherapOT. Clinical documentation you create using the service remains your intellectual property. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service.
Disclaimers
TherapOT is a documentation tool and does not provide medical advice. Clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the treating therapist. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TherapOT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
